Recently I've stumbled across some pretty incredible creatives. These people are not only great writers - they're helpful too. Even more than that, they know you. They're somehow magically in tune with their readers. One scroll through their recent posts had me signing up to their newsletters on the spot - and there wasn't even a pop up. I don't think you should miss out on these, which is why I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Well, ten of them actually.

Did you know a source found by Social Triggers says there are more than 164 million blogs?
I know right. What a figure.
164 million. To put it into context, there are around 64.1 million people living in the UK right now. So currently, there are more than twice as many blogs in the world compared to people in the UK.
That’s a big figure.
Huge.
If you’re reading this, you may have a blog or you may not. If you do, I’m guessing that like me, you’re one of the 164 million.
So in other words we’re all really little fish in a very big pond. It’s no wonder we always ask ourselves the question: “Why do we blog?”

Read MoreIt's absolutely amazing how every single month I find a new list of bloggers to add to my Bloglovin feed. I've been feeling beyond proud to be part of this community recently and am thinking about opening up some new directions to take my little blog in. But for now, here are the people that inspire me to do one thing: keep blogging.
Read MoreAre you on Instagram?
Of course you are. What a silly question.
The thing is, these days, we're all expected to be on it aren't we? Snapping and filtering our lives away. Don't get me wrong, I love Instagram and I love taking pictures of my life to look back at. But it seems that we're all guilty of one little thing when it comes to this app - we only take photos of the good stuff.

1. Get into healthy eating habits - This is something I'm very proud to say I've achieved this month. I've been really determined about my eating habits, making sure I only take healthy snacks to work and not going mad at weekends, although I still allow myself a treat or two! And I'm definitely going to carry on.

Read MoreWhat do you think of your CV? How up to date is it? When was the last time you actually updated it? A lot of people think that once you get a job you can just push your CV to one side for a while.
This isn't true.
20 per cent of employers once said in a survey that they wouldn't hire someone who had a spelling or grammar error in their CV.
What's more, nearly half of employers said that 'confusing jargon' was more than enough to seriously harm a candidate's chances of getting a job.
There's loads more other stats but I think the main point is this: nowadays it's really important to have a killer CV.
Read MoreThis year I’ve written 173 posts, tweeted over 2000 times and taken nearly 300 Instagram snaps. I’ve shared my ups, downs, happiness, loves and life with you. There was a stage where I questioned myself and my blog but I came out of the other side more positive, confident and on track with where I saw this space going in the future.
Read MoreYou’ve found an ideal job and you’ve been asked to go for an interview – so what do you do next? What can you do to make sure you’re at your very best? What can you do to make yourself stand out?
According to this survey the biggest mistake made at job interviews is the interviewee having little or no knowledge of the company they’re applying to work for. Two other high ones are failing to make eye contact and the way we dress and act.
To get to the point, there are actually a lot of factors during an interview that will help an employer to determine whether you’re right for the job. And sometimes, it can be very hard to know where to start.

Do you use social media in your daily life? Do you think it adds to your relationships with others, or takes away from them? And furthermore, do you think social media adds more positive or negative to your life? Write about your relationship with social media, and talk a bit about how you got started, and what role it plays in your world.
Read MoreEveryone loves a list don't they? Whether you use sticky notes, pieces of paper or cute printables, we all love to note tasks down and try to complete them.
I read something earlier about 'to-do' lists that said:
Today's To Do List
Make to-do list
Cross things off to-do list
Celebrate completion of to-do list
If only it was that simple.
This then got me thinking about my own to-do list. Every night I write out my to-do list for the next day which usually consists of job hunting and then all things blogging, along with other errands and jobs thrown in between.
At the moment, these two areas - job hunting and blogging - are so important that I'm devoting practically all my time to them every single day. But recently, I was thinking about other hobbies that I have and other fun tasks that I've still yet to complete on my to-do list. So as well as job hunting and blogging, I'm going to try and fit in one of my other favourite tasks every day, just so I'm that step closer to crossing it off my to-do list.

I’m coming up to my one year anniversary for my blog and even though I’m still very much a newbie, there are so many things I’ve learnt. It’s a world you enter where there are endless possibilities. I've never really talked about my blogging tools but I'd like to share them with you.
Really, all you need to get started is a love for writing and creating content, enthusiasm and something you believe in
Planning
Everyone in the blogging world is aware that planning is crucial in terms of creating and maintaining your blog presence. But this is a lot easier said than done.
I start off by writing everything down in my notebook. I used to have a list of post ideas on my iPad, but I found it easier to get them down in writing first and then write them up in more detail on Evernote. This little app is an absolute life saver. My next step is to get a notebook for each topic I post about.
Once I’ve got the basis of some ideas, I transfer them onto the relevant note on Evernote, whether that’s Fashion, Beauty, Inspiration, Lifestyle or Food – see the pattern? This allows me to keep track of the posts I’ve got for different topics and write down exactly what I need to do for each of them. Plus you can add tick boxes next to each point and cross off things as you go along.

Read MoreDoing an undergraduate degree and going to university is one of the biggest and most life changing experiences of our lives. Even though those three years are hard, but definitely enjoyable, a masters course is on a completely different level.
A lot of people will be starting university this Autumn or going into their second or third year, but a lot of people will also be starting an MA. If you think it's going to be the same, then think again. Here's a few tips and a bit of an insight.
Don't Be Afraid to Do It
It might seem like you're about to embark upon the scariest chapter of your life so far. You might want to change your mind a couple of months or weeks before starting it but don't. The first step is deciding to do it. After that you're already half way there. Well, kind of.
Read MoreYesterday, something happened that we have been secretly fearing for the past few years. No, the world didn't stop making shoes and don't worry, shops are still selling macaroons. It was something much worse than that, something that made people think that they just couldn't go on, that their lives were over.
Facebook went down.
Boom. Nothing. Silence. One of many social media sites that people depend on daily crashed and failed for 30 minutes around 9am yesterday morning, causing a swarm of outrage and panic around the world. 'Oh no, I can't get on Facebook to wish some distant old friend of mine Happy Birthday!' or 'oh no, I can't get on Facebook to delete those awful photos from last night!' were probably just some of the comments people were shouting as they held their head in their hands, staring at their blank computer screens.
What do you think happened next? Twitter went mad. Completely mental. People actually couldn't believe that Facebook wasn't working and more unbelievably than that, it seemed that they just couldn't cope without it.
People from all over the world took to Twitter to complain that they couldn't access the network, some even saying they were being forced to do other things than spend their time on Facebook.
You've got to ask the question - do we really depend on Facebook that much? Should the world have gone into complete panic mode when it crashed for about 20 minutes?

Ryan Casey is good at giving advice
“Do you want a tip? Not a personal tip or a money tip, I can’t give those.” He takes his time and is thoughtful, searching for the words. “We’re our own harshest critic. It’s okay to think that everything we write isn't so good or that we’re wasting our time. If you really believe in something you should go for it.”
These are wise words coming from an author, fresh out of university. He’s comfortable, laid back and honest, making him seem like he’s been in this world for a lot longer than his 21 years. “I do everything an average 21 year old does. I hang out with friends, I get up late, I procrastinate, I drink. So probably everything I shouldn’t do really.”
