What's Always On Your 'To Do' List?
Everyone loves a list don't they? Whether you use sticky notes, pieces of paper or cute printables, we all love to note tasks down and try to complete them.
I read something earlier about 'to-do' lists that said:
Today's To Do List
Make to-do list
Cross things off to-do list
Celebrate completion of to-do list
If only it was that simple.
This then got me thinking about my own to-do list. Every night I write out my to-do list for the next day which usually consists of job hunting and then all things blogging, along with other errands and jobs thrown in between.
At the moment, these two areas - job hunting and blogging - are so important that I'm devoting practically all my time to them every single day. But recently, I was thinking about other hobbies that I have and other fun tasks that I've still yet to complete on my to-do list. So as well as job hunting and blogging, I'm going to try and fit in one of my other favourite tasks every day, just so I'm that step closer to crossing it off my to-do list.
Let My Scrapbook Continue
I have a gorgeous scrapbook that I've been planning on using for outfit and make-up ideas. Over the past couple of years I've come to have a stack full of magazines with pages folded down and notes all over the pages indicating what I need to cut out. Now I just need to combine these two things together! I remember I started this once when I was ill, but it's one of those things I've not got round to finishing yet. So on the next rainy day, magazines and glue are going to be my best friends.
Read My Magazines
I've not just got a stack of magazines that I've read and need to cut to pieces - I've also got drawers full of magazines that I've just not read yet. These date back to October if you can believe it! Funnily enough, that's when my masters started and since then, I just haven't had the time. You can read more about that here.
I'm going to vow to myself here and now that every night I will switch off from technology and read magazines. Not only do they provide amazing, insightful reading - they have so much inspiration too.
Finish off My Room
My bedroom was decorated around a year ago and it's so lovely. There's just a few things I've been meaning to purchase to give it some finishing touches, like a new desk lamp, some boxes and somewhere to put all my shoes - seriously if you guys have any ideas, please let me know. And actually, that's just given me a great idea for a blog post!
