Get ready to come behind-the-scenes with me…
I’ve been looking at my numbers and May has been a phenomenal month - a really incredible month for me personally and for the business.
In the last month alone, the business has grown by almost 50% which is just amazing.
Just think about, how open are we to even entertain the question of “what would it look like if I grew my business by 50%, if I doubled the results in my business?”
How many of us are actually available for that within our awareness?
That is what we’re going to dive into today, the strategy behind it, the circumstances behind it and how it can be possible for you too.
Let’s dive in…
productivity is everything
So, as promised I'm sharing with you how I've doubled my results over the past month. And I know your biggest question right now is how, you know what is that all about? Is it a package that you sell? Is it a strategy that you use? What would you attribute that growth to? How do I grow by 50%? How do I grow by 20%? How do I create that in my own business?
Something that you'll know about me if you followed me for a while is that I went on my own personal evolution and what we're talking about today, this is a big part of the work that I did and still do with my mentor.
So you hear about the 50% growth, but what you don't see are the decisions behind the scenes, the thought processes behind the scenes. What do I do when something comes up or I have an unproductive day?
There's so much compounding that leads up to what may seem like an overnight success or a quantum leap. Sometimes, we may think it's a fluke or that the person has something we don't. I've noticed that many women aren't even open to this kind of growth, and they may not even realise it.
I see so many women, who know they need to take action, they recognise the importance of working on the business and working towards their goals and dreams. But they almost treat it as an obligation but it's a very different energy when we approach productivity, with inspired action and making money.
Productivity isn't just a means to an end; it's a way of life. It's a way of life during chaotic times and during wonderful and amazing times. It's a choice you make every single day in terms of who you want to be and how you choose to view things. It's about taking action and listening to the right voice within you. Eventually, it becomes second nature, but until then, it may feel like there are two versions of you on your shoulders. Sometimes one voice is louder, and on other days, it's the opposite. However, the voice that questions why things haven't happened yet for you isn't the voice that serves you. That voice whispers in your ear, teaching you how to lead yourself and take actions to achieve what you want. It's essential to let your Boss voice be louder.
Over time, through practice, this voice becomes louder, reminding you that you are a boss. Remember who you are and what you want. Remember what you stand for and show up for that person. Take action. That has been the difference for me this month: taking action and commitment. Did I double my results by doubling my workload? No. Did I double my results by doubling the amount of time I work? No. In fact, I've hardly worked more than three days a week in May. We don't waver in our actions or expectations. We choose to believe that something better is out there. When life happens, as it always does, our productivity may fluctuate.
the growth explained…
Okay, how exactly did I grow by 50% last month…
This growth spurt is largely attributed to signing six new one-on-one clients. Initially, I had reservations about taking on new clients, but once I made the decision, I knew it was the right move. This month has been remarkable for me, with the addition of six new private clients in just two weeks. I have so much to share about these incredible results, the volume of work, and the overflowing positivity.
When I soft launched my coaching, I set an intention at the beginning of this month to fill my one-on-one spots by mid-month and then focus on selling the 30-day Boss Project for the rest of the month. That was the plan.
During this process, I reflected on the needs of potential one-on-one clients. I understood that they were not looking for another masterclass or more things to learn. They were likely busy or already juggling multiple things. Given the nature of private coaching and even the 30-day Boss Project, the focus is on building a relationship. So, I asked myself, "How can I forge stronger relationships with the women in my audience? How can I better engage with them?" That's when I decided to talk about my private coaching offer every single day, in some form or another. I even had a Notion page full of ideas that I didn't get to use because the spots filled up. The energy, exchange, and relationship with my clients are not transactional. It's about partnership and an intimate connection. Similarly, the Boss Project, which started with a free challenge, is a natural extension of this.
In planning this one-on-one launch, I knew I didn't want to rely on discovery or sales calls where I would ask potential clients about their challenges and goals. It didn't align with my approach. Instead, I wanted these women to have the opportunity to get to know me, and understand my coaching style, my values, and the experiences that have shaped me as a coach. This is where my content and free strategy calls came into play. Additionally, it gave me an idea for the future—a way to provide share my journey, the lessons I've learned, and the challenges along the way. I thought it would be amazing to share my story, highlighting the biggest lessons, wisdom gained, and how I navigated my business journey from zero to consistent income, even after returning from maternity leave, all while working a four-day week. This transparency and storytelling approach helped build connections and resonate with potential clients. So I'm not surprised that it worked.
Interestingly, two of my new one-on-one clients are past clients. One of them I worked with about a year ago, and the other was one of my first-ever coaching clients back in 2018 when I was just getting started. One girl who secured a spot basically said she had been following me and listening to my podcast for two years and didn't need to hop on a call because she was already sold. She had consumed two years' worth of my content and just knew I was the coach for her. I don't take that for granted; I know it's a huge deal. I've had some clients express similar sentiments, which I've also felt before. It hasn't always been a resounding "yes" to work with another coach for such a long time, even if the programme sounded good or I could afford it. That excitement, that resonance, that connection is what I want to experience when working with someone, too.
To achieve this, you need to start building relationships and start being so specific in how you speak and how you show up. We need to be selective and not simply accept the first person who is willing to pay. Affordability is not the sole determining factor. Just because someone can pay you doesn't mean they are an ideal client.
I often see new business owners make the mistake of jumping at the first person willing to pay. And I think that’s such a mistake; there are many other aspects than just affordability. For instance, does the client align with your values? Do you have a connection and chemistry? These are the things I look for when partnering up with clients, especially in close working relationships. If we're going to be interacting daily and spending a lot of time together, there must be that connection and chemistry for both of us to show up as our best selves and achieve the best results.
I want to emphasise that I don't want you working with me just because of the results I get. I want there to be an alignment of values, I want there to be good chemistry and for it to feel like a really good match through and through. That is how you are going to get to where you want to be and make the money you want to make by working with someone where there is that resonance and relationship. It's a relational process based on your connection with the other person. It's about that connection you have with someone on the other side, and that connection creates resonance, that resonance creates trust, and that trust creates a level of safety. And then when people come in, they can feel really good, really rooted and really empowered. Whether they are yes or no, they can ask questions, they can speak for what they need, and they can show up in a really transparent and candid conversation. That’s powerful.
