A lot of us are fed up with some things that are happening in the online space at the moment and I think we need to talk about it.

This pep talk is for you if you are feeling overwhelmed, or disorganised, you’re trying things but nothing is working, or you think you’re not cut out for entrepreneurship.

The ONE thing you need to do to go from overwhelm to empowerment

In my seven-year journey as a business strategist, I've had loads of conversations with all sorts of people. The comments I often hear from those seeking help with strategic planning, business development, and productivity usually boil down to two things: "I'm overwhelmed," or "I'm not cut out for entrepreneurship." If you're starting to feel that way, feeling a bit all over the place and doubting if this whole entrepreneurial thing is for you, I’m here to help.

Maybe you're considering webinars, passive products or even more Instagram Lives, trying different things but feeling like nothing's clicking? And feeling bombarded by coaches flaunting their six-figure incomes while chilling on a beach. If you're starting to feel a bit desperate, doubting if this journey is really meant for you, I want you to know: it's going to be okay, boss. But it's also time to switch gears. You need to stop comparing yourself to others, put on your blinders, and reconnect with why you're doing this.

After watching the industry game-changers, I can tell you this: none of them waste time scrolling through Facebook groups or downloading every freebie on Pinterest. They're not constantly attending webinars without taking action, or giving up on strategies at the first hurdle.

If you're ready to make real progress towards your goals, if you want a clear plan to attract clients or hit those sales targets, listen up. If your vision board screams "more time with the kids" but work seems to chain you to your desk, you're not alone. It's frustrating seeing others breeze through while you struggle.

If you are starting to feel like that, then I just want to let you know that it's absolutely okay.

This is what you need to do…You need to put your blinders on, you need to turn off your phone, you need to leave those communities that are not serving you anymore.

What's your big goal?

Maybe it's being able to afford a long weekend road trip every 90 days with your family. So, how many clients or sales do you need to make? What's the monthly income target you're aiming for? How many products do you need to sell each month to make that dream a reality? That's where your focus needs to be. No more downloading freebies or attending webinars without taking action.

It's time to have a real conversation about your goals. The people who are making things happen, who are impacting their ideal clients and gaining momentum in their businesses, they're simply showing up every day. They have a clear game plan, they know their offering inside out, and they're crystal clear on the steps needed to reach their goals. They're not getting bogged down with trivial decisions like what Instagram quotes to post. They're focused on the exact steps needed to move forward.

If you've ever confided in me about feeling stuck or frustrated with your progress in the online space, then I need to ask: do you know your big goals? Do you have a clear plan to achieve them? Do you know how many clients or sales you need to reach your targets? Do you know the size your email list needs to be to generate those sales? It's so important that you do - knowing your numbers is essential. You can't just hope for new clients each month; you need a strategy to make it happen. We need to know how you're going to find those clients, whether it's through sales calls or another method, and how your launches and marketing are planned.

Remember, you’re the boss

There are hundreds of thousands of ways to make money online. I have clients in various industries who are achieving their financial goals and living their desired lifestyles in completely different ways. Some do webinars, others sell digital products or offer one-on-one services. Some solely rely on Instagram, while others thrive on Google. It doesn't matter. What's crucial is that you understand your goal and your strengths. Then, together we create a tailored plan of action based on your unique talents and strengths, moving you towards your goal.

There's a lot of noise out there, all claiming to have the perfect formula for making money. It can be overwhelming. But there isn't just one way; there's only your way. You need to figure out what that is.

So let's all take a deep breath. That's my sassy pep talk for you. I'm delivering a bit of tough love because it breaks my heart to hear you doubt yourself repeatedly. You are a creative, passionate, ambitious entrepreneur, here to share your art, make an impact, and create change. You just need a strategy.

And we all have different circumstances in our lives. You just need a strategy that fits your business and your life. And I want you to figure it out. That's why having a partner in your business, like I am with my clients, is so powerful. They can share their challenges, and together, we create a plan.

But if you're thinking, "I should know what I'm doing by now," I understand. Sometimes you just need to talk it out. And maybe it's time for a new coach, or perhaps you've outgrown your current one.
