In a contrasting sort of way, the fact that eBooks are becoming more mainstream is a positive thing. It’s growing the amount of people who want to read or buy them in the first place.

When people hear that I’ve created one that’s 100+ pages and give it away for free on my site, I get some odd looks. But as more and more people learn how powerful eBooks can be, more and more people are interested in downloading and buying them, too.
