Seven for Sunday
If I had to pick the biggest struggle of the year so far, it would be this week. It was always going to be a bit tricky after having been off work for five days, but boy did it hit me hard!
Last Sunday was a lovely end to my little break though. I got a big workout done in the morning and then me and the fam went up to Lancaster to see my brother at university. We took him out for Sunday lunch and somehow managed three courses! It was delicious.
If you follow me on Snapchat, you'll know I've been feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment. My work load is bigger than usual, because not only have I had more freelance work than normal - but I've also got two guest lectures coming up. One at Lancaster University on personal branding, and one at the University of Central Lancashire on writing different types of content. They got on top of me somehow and it's safe to say I've been feeling the pressure.
They happen tomorrow and Tuesday and then it'll be back to normal. But I'm really excited to do them. The students always seem to learn so much and it helps me realise how far I've come as a blogger.
All I've really done this week is work and more work! Apart from last night when my mum and I went to a concert from an opera group that won Britain's Got Talent - and it was actually pretty good!
I hope you've had better week than I had - if not, then here's to the next one!
Let's chat in the comments - what have been some of the highlights of your week? Anything new with you?
