Weekend Reading | On Motivation & Positivity
A big Happy Friday to you, friends! I just wanted to start off by saying thank you to all of you who wished me good luck for starting my new job yesterday. Your words were so lovely and I really felt like you were all supporting me. We've had a good old chat in the ABOH (A Branch of Holly ;) ) community this week and it's really made me smile. We said a final goodbye and goodnight to my Grandma on Tuesday, so now it's about trying to adjust to life without her. But we've been laughing, smiling and reminiscing which is exactly what she would've wanted.
To keep in with the spirit of things this week, I've got a great round up of posts for you on motivation and positivity. Grab your drink of choice, sit back, relax and enjoy.
Jen's post on business and creativity lessons we can learn from Alain de Botton was really refreshing to read. It's so interesting to read someone's interpretation of the written word and how this can teach you to grow.
This post from Olivia on why she's not drinking the side hustle kool-aid anymore is one of the best articles I've read in a long time. I won't give anything away, but if you've ever felt overwhelmed with your online presence, this is what you need to read.
The lovely Stephie from Tea in Your Twenties wrote about why finding your purpose shouldn't mean splitting your soul, earlier this week. I always love her honesty and as always, she spoke directly from the heart in this post.
This was a great read from Lisa on why she believes blogs are for rough drafts. We're always learning and developing. So I completely agree with Lisa when she says that our blogs are simply the beginning.
Rachel wrote about how to define success for yourself this week, which was really interesting to hear her views on. She wrote abut it in such a positive way that I couldn't help but want to achieve big things.
What blog posts have you enjoyed reading this week? Have you written any you're particularly proud of? Leave a link in the comments!
