Hey Blogger, it's OK...

Hey Blogger, it's OK...

As bloggers, we have a huge to-do list to tackle on a daily basis. From answering emails to keeping up with social media, sometimes it feels like we can’t do it all.

I believe that we are brilliant people. When you think about everything we do, it makes us sound like superstars. But with all the work we put in, we might not always see the outcome that we want. That can make us feel low, fed up and downright blue.

There are times when I don’t want to publish another post. Times when I think, well, what’s the point?

Here’s the point – no one’s journey is the same. There are people out there who want to read what you have to say. Even if they don’t leave a comment and even if you don’t know who they are. There are people in the background who care about what you do.

You don’t have to feel like you have to do everything. If you beat yourself up about not getting things done, this is for you.

So, because it’s the festive season and because, well, let’s face it, a lot of us go through difficult times during this part of the year – here’s some pep talk.

Today, I want to remind you (and myself, too) that hey blogger, it’s OK. It’s OK to feel lost, it’s OK to feel stuck. But it’s also OK to feel really really good. So, shall we get going?

Hey Blogger, It's OK...

Hey blogger, it’s OK……

If you can't publish content everyday.

If you don't keep up with Vlogmas or Blogmas.

If you forget to schedule that post.

If your Instagram feed isn't perfect.

If you don't get Twitter.

If you feel icky promoting yourself.

If you feel like you’re writing to no one.

If people don’t agree with you.

If you don’t reach your goals.

If you don’t have thousands of followers.

If you don’t have hundreds of followers.

Hey blogger, it’s OK……

If Google Analytics makes your head hurt.

If you can’t master the flat lay.

If you want to take a break.

If your post doesn't reach the 800 word mark.

If you don’t have all the money.

If you don’t have all the things.

If you want a day job.

To feel confused.

To put other things first.

To not blog about what everyone is blogging about.

To try something new.

Hey blogger, it’s OK……

To want more.

To want less.

To say no.

To not finish your to-do list.

If your growth is slow.

If you’re still learning.

If you’re not where you want to be.

If you forget to take pictures.

If you’re not motivated 24/7.

To do your own thing.

To be you.

To write posts like this once in a while.

And here are some from you. Hey blogger, it’s OK……

To work for free promoting our brand, because think of the exposure! @MoralFibres

To lose your head sometimes. @lilnovelist

A Final Note...

So there we have it. My list of reasons why it’s so great to be a blogger right now. Reasons why it’s OK to cut yourself some slack. I really hope this post helped you as much as it helped and inspired me to write it.

Over to you blogger - fill in the gap and leave your thoughts in the comments. "Hey blogger, it's OK..."
