This month, I've come across more new websites and content than I ever thought possible. Some I've found have made me ask: how have I not found this before?
And some of my favourite bloggers have been creating some of their best content yet. Luckily for you, I've rounded it all up for you right here. This month, you'll find the best podcasts to listen to, social media tips and a bit of inspiration as always. So get comfy and get ready to add some great content to your reading list.
If you've been hiding away for the past year or so I've got big news - podcasts are huge.
I can't get enough of them, and now even the people that inspire me in this industry are creating their own. But for those of you who are just getting started, Rebecca from Wanderdust gives you a great round-up of ones to listen to. P.S - check out her outfits too.
If I could, I'd list all of Jen's posts here. Each and every one is great. But this month, I've picked her piece of content about mailing lists. Mailing lists are great. They're the perfect way to interact with your audience on a more personal level. But it can be difficult to know what to include in your emails. Which is where Jen's post comes in. If you've got a mailing list, get a note pad and pen ready. If you've not got one, this will make you think differently.
It scares me slightly when I hear that you should spend just as much time promoting your content as you should writing it. The majority of us share it through our social media channels and that's it. But as Buffer shows us, there are so many more ways to promote content. Some of these might not relate to you in who you are as a blogger. But they'll definitely open your eyes to more opportunities.
Regina is one of my favourite people on the web. She writes through her website as if she's speaking directly to me. She's on the same level as you. She's real and she knows who her audience is. And because of this, her content is out of this world amazing. This series that Regina has created is going to be in a series of podcasts. And I for one, can't wait.
What I love most about the Elle & Company blog is how transparent it is. Lauren shares every step of her journey through her blog and newsletter. In this post, she shares exactly why having a blog is such a huge benefit. Read this and reassure yourself that having a blog is great.
This is the first post I've read from Sarah's blog. After reading it, I made my way back through her full archive. I love it when I come across a blog like that - it's what makes me want to follow them. Which is exactly what happened with Sarah. When we write about our skills and expertise, we can lose personality. But Sarah tells you how to bring it back with some easy tips you can start working on today.
For some basic Twitter tips that, honestly, you can do - this is the post for you. Elise explains how she grew her Twitter following and tells you exactly how you can do it. What more could you want?
I love Rebecca's style. Seriously, just go ahead and add all those items to my wardrobe right now.
If you're feeling puzzled about where you're heading in life or you just need a bit of reassurance, this is the post to read. Maya talks completely openly to you, and by the end of the post, you'll feel a hell of a lot better.
"The struggle is where we learn, grow, and become the people who can ultimately achieve those goals and dreams." A must-read for those of you who aren't feeling inspired.
The reason I love Sophie's posts are because they're straight to the point. And in this one, she gets you to look at things from a completely different perspective. The best part?
You may not have given much thought to your social media profiles. But they have more weight than you know. This lady explains how to create a great one in some simple steps.
When I get my own place, it will be filled with lights. Nouvelle Daily is the place I'll turn to for inspiration time and time again. In this round-up, the swan light is my favourite.
I shared this post on my Twitter feed just the other day, because it's SO great. I tune into each and every post on The Collative, with good reason. This is full of details, insights, examples and ideas - everything I look for in content.
What content or bloggers have you loved this month? Please share your links the comments - I can't wait to read them!
